On clear winter nights you may see the northern lights from the deck.

About us
Hotel West is in the old market hall on Aðalstræti, in the centre of Patreksfjörður. We opened it as a hotel in May 2014.
Patreksfjörður is Europe's westernmost town. You can walk to the restaurants, the swimming pool, the pharmacy and the grocery stores. Down at the harbour the fishing boats come in early in the morning and again in the afternoon.

Getting here
Patreksfjörður is about five hours' drive from Reykjavík. You can also fly or take the ferry for part of the way.
By car
From Reykjavík, take Route 1 towards Borgarnes. After Borgarnes, turn left onto Route 60. Where Routes 60 and 62 meet, turn left and follow Route 62 to Patreksfjörður. The drive takes about five hours.
By air
Norlandair flies from Reykjavík to Bíldudalur most days of the week. Bíldudalur airport is 40 km from Patreksfjörður.
